The Art & Science of Foraging, Presented by Dina Falconi, Clinical Herbalist

  • Middletown Thrall Public Library 11-19 Depot Street Middletown, NY, 10940 United States (map)

Join us as Herbalist Dina Falconi introduces us to plant foraging: how to identify, gather, and prepare edible plants for consumption. In addition to a slide show, Dina will conduct a live demonstration and prepare a few recipes for tasting.  True to the nature of this very special event, plants available at the time of the presentation will influence which recipes Dina presents. Will it be a wild green pesto? An herbal truffle? Essence water? Let's find out!  Signed copies of Dina's cookbook will also be available. FREE registration required: please contact Gail Myker at (845) 341-5483 or at thrall3@warwick.net. For more info click here. http://www.thrall.org
